Conference reservation deadline is Tuesday January 7, 2020. This free half-day session will train teams from targeted stakeholder agencies in Northern California who will serve as internal trainers to engage staff at all levels to support treatment of opioid addiction with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for persons involved in the criminal justice systems.
During the session, teams will review numerous training modules and materials developed for county use. These include videotaped compilations of the earlier sessions, additional webinars and videotapes, stakeholder-specific workbooks, and county-specific overdose data and key contacts. Your team will work through a series of questions and pathways aimed toward a specific training plan for your agency for 2020. It will include consideration of continuing education credits, tracking participation, measuring change, and more.
Targeted agencies are invited to develop a team of people from across the agency – leaders, managers, line staff, and training coordinators - who are natural “champions” to carry the training forward in your organization.
Target agencies include:
Adult collaborative courts
Youth/dependency courts
Sheriff staff
Jail custody staff
Jail health care staff
Probation
Child Protective Services
District Attorneys
Public defenders
